New Delhi: The Delhi Police announced the recovery of “objectionable items” and forged images during a recent search of the premises used by accused Chaitanyananda Saraswati, also known as Parthasarathy, at the Sri Sharada Institute of Indian Management Research (SRISIM).
Key Items Recovered
- Police seized one sex toy and five CDs reportedly containing pornographic material.
- They also found three forged photographs that allegedly showed the accused posing with prominent figures, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, former US President Barack Obama, and a UK-based leader.
The Sexual Harassment Case
Saraswati is accused of molesting 17 students at the Delhi institute. Police believe he used his influence to lure victims with promises of jobs.
- Evidence gathered includes lewd chats and women’s photos found on his phone, suggesting a history of predatory behavior.
- The accused has been using an international number and his old name to try and hide his identity.
- Police have detained two female associates who were reportedly close to Saraswati from the beginning, and they are being questioned.
- During police questioning, Saraswati has been uncooperative and shown “no remorse,” only responding when confronted with concrete evidence.
The investigation is ongoing, and police teams have visited multiple locations where the accused stayed while he was on the run to collect more evidence.
