Sriharikota: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) achieved a major milestone on Sunday with the successful launch of the country’s heaviest communication satellite, CMS-03 (also known as GSAT-7R).

- Weight: Weighing approximately 4,400 kg, CMS-03 is the heaviest communication satellite ever launched from Indian soil.
- Orbit: The LVM3 successfully placed the massive satellite into a precise Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit (GTO).
