MUMBAI  Jan 28— The tragic passing of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar in a plane crash today has left the entertainment capital of India in mourning. From silver screen legends to modern-day icons, Bollywood stars took to social media to pay tribute to the 66-year-old leader, often referred to as “Ajit Dada,” who was known for his administrative grit and dynamic leadership.

The accident occurred in Baramati while the Deputy CM was traveling to campaign for the upcoming Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti elections, currently scheduled for February 5, 2026.
