Plot: A Marriage Quest Gone Hilariously Wrong
The story is set in the village of Gaurapuram. Naveen Polishetty plays Raju, a witty young man who has squandered his family’s wealth. To reclaim his status, he launches “Operation Charulatha,” a scheme to marry Charu (Meenakshi Chaudhary), the daughter of a wealthy landlord, Bhupathi Raju (Rao Ramesh).
However, the twist comes after the wedding: Raju discovers his father-in-law is drowning in debt, and the “wealthy” lifestyle was a facade. The film follows Raju’s chaotic and heartfelt journey to find his self-respect amidst financial ruins and village politics.
